Golden Hour in L.A.

Art is the medium that leads me to my inner truest self. I embark on a journey of which the destination is molded as I go, is relegated to oblivion, and then springs forth powerfully from within me. Through introspection and contemplation, art allows me a glimpse into my deepest inner self. Brief glimpses of light wrapped in colors are testimony to my experiences. My paintings are a courageous look inside - they reveal what lies within me. Art is for me the most affirmative thing I can do in life. I am a multidisciplinary artist from Düsseldorf. Since my early childhood I have been creative and experimental. For hours, even as a small child, I disappeared into the world of colors and shapes. Art has always been a source of positive energy in my life. Painting is my meditation and my path to self-discovery. I find peace in the rush of colors and in creating something new. My color palette is vibrant, inspired by the world that surrounds me - from the arid landscape of Thar to the fascinating islands of the Okavango Delta. My works speak to spirit, intuition, empathy. Each artwork reflects a part of me. I am fascinated that people experience my art differently and have different perceptions of shapes, compositions and colors. Each work speaks differently to the viewer, just as I affect each person differently. My creative process is unintentional, emotional and spontaneous. In this way, I continuously develop a balance between colors, shapes, areas, lines and mediums and create free and bold imagery. In the endless cycle of life, my mind often wanders freely. Just like the strokes of my paintbrush.
