The artist duo One Truth consists of artists Dr.Drax, born in 1983 and Pase, born in 1981. The two brothers live in Zurich, where they have helped enrich the cityscape with their creative and versatile graffiti art for many years. But One Truth isn't just known throughout Switzerland, but has also gained recognition in the international street art scene. Back in 1998 Pase was making illegal graffiti art in the underground scene and later taught his brother Since their youth, the brothers have been creatively engaged. Having learned the street art independently, the brothers perfected their technique over the years and developed their own style. Since 2003, they've been working under the name One Truth, with which they have achieved the international breakthrough. An unbeatable team Each work by One Truth emerges as an idea, which is put on paper as a sketch. Pase then creates the concept, the canvas' background layers, which often consists of abstract landscapes made of typographic signs. Dr. Drax develops mostly the characters and motifs. Using spray and acrylic paint, the duo works hand in hand and creates colorful paintings featuring their typical little monsters that never look frightening, but rather cute and funny. The figures often tell personal stories of the brothers. It's about their solid relationship with each other, growing up without parents as well as their two dogs, who are their constant companions. Their works have been exhibited in galleries and at art fairs in Berlin, Hamburg, Basel, Zurich, Lausanne, Goeteborg or Chicago. National public characters like Aeschbacher, Baschi, Gökhan Inler, Daniel Leupi etc..are fans of the artists and work with them.They have won national competitions and participated in numerous international festivals and competitions. Her works are in private collections worldwide and have been traded at auctions with legends like Banksy, Keith Haring, Obey, Jonone, Seen, Cope2, Futura 2000, Taki183, Quik, Crash, Zevs, Blek le Rat, Invader, Nägeli, Vhils etc.. One Truth has achieved international recognition thanks to the high recognition value of its artistic handwriting and imagery, has implemented works of art and art in public spaces for city governments, multinational companies, has won national and international competitions, and has been awarded by the Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) to the Olympic Games in London 2012 and the Expo Milano Swiss Pavilion 2015.
